Yoga Day of Reflection: Discernment in Motion - Exploring Fear

August 31 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

As embodied spirits, we physically store emotions in the body's tissues that block our connection to the spirit within. St. Ignatius believed that one's thoughts, feelings, and actions move them closer to or further from God. If not worked through, these stored emotions can influence our life, pushing us further from God. Through prayerful yoga and reflection, we will explore the emotion of fear. We will move it through the body, tapping into the spiritual gift of security to bring us closer to God.

Yoga + Prayer Writing Workshop on Zoom

September 18 @ 11:00 AM EST

Transform your prayers as embodied spirits through meditation and movement in this 2-hour workshop. What or who are you praying for right now? For what do you consistently pray? Are your prayers positive, powerful, and precise? Are you willing to abandon your desires for God's? What emotional blockages might hinder you from this surrender? Together, we will reflect on our prayers, explore God's presence among our desires, and release any emotional blockages through the gift of movement.

Beginners and experienced practitioners are encouraged. Sign up for one or both days; our prayers always await transformation.

Yoga Day of Reflection: Discernment in Motion - Exploring Guilt

October 6 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Emotions are the biological interpretations of our body's blood chemistry. Every emotion has value and contains the potential to achieve God's purpose for us if explored honestly and allowed to move through the held blockages in the body. Together, as created, embodied spirits, let's explore the emotion of guilt, encourage it, with the gift of yoga, to move through the body, and prayerfully encounter the spiritual gift of enthusiasm to bring us closer to God.

Yoga Day of Reflection: Discernment in Motion - Exploring Shame

December 9 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Every part of the physical body participates in the process of managing our emotions. Every gland, organ, nerve, bone, and muscle contributes to emotional patterns leading to habits and fixations that abandon conscious participation. There develops only a stimulus and a response. We connect physically through prayerful yoga to the container for all experience, circumstance, history, and prayer - the body - to explore shame and discover God's spiritual gift of growth.

2-Night Yoga Retreat:  Discerning God's Will

January 14 @ 6:00 PM - January 16 @ 12:00 PM

In Psalm 143: 10, the Psalmist prays, "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your kind spirit guide me...." As we enter the New Year, we often do so with a list of resolutions to encounter transformation. This weekend, we will reflect on these desires, discern God among them, and recognize the spirit within as our guide toward His will.
